Make Aero Fatter

with one comment

Or thinner, for that matter. I’m talking about the window borders. Yes, you can make them thinner or fatter. Here’s how.

Right-click anywhere on your desktop and click “Personalize”

Click “Windows Color and Appearance”

Click “Open classic appearance properties for more color options,” then click “Advanced”.

Click the drop-down box and click “Border Padding”

Now for the fun part! To make your borders fatter, increase the number in the box next to the drop-down.

To make your borders thinner, just decrease the number in the box.

When your done, click “OK” and then “OK”. You now have either thinner or fatter window borders!

If you don’t like your new borders, just reset the number to “4”.

Enjoy!
